Hayward from the Baixo Miño. Galician yes; ours, no.
Galician kiwi is picked in November in the Baixo Miño, where the river takes just enough edge off the winter for Hayward to set. It is a neighbour's fruit, not ours: we buy it from growers in O Rosal, two hours' drive from the grove, and that closeness is the whole difference — it arrives picked that week, not out of six months of cold store. It keeps for weeks in the fridge and ripens faster left beside an apple.

How to store it
Seasonal fruit, alive and never cold-stored. Take it out of the box when it arrives and don't stack it. Eat whatever came ripest first; the rest keeps better out of the fridge, at room temperature and away from the sun. An avocado softens on the counter in two or three days — when it gives under your thumb, it's ready. Only already-ripe fruit goes in the fridge, in the bottom drawer.

We ship to mainland Spain, the Balearic Islands and Portugal. Free from €45.00. Fresh products travel in ventilated boxes and leave Monday to Thursday so they never sit in a warehouse over the weekend.
Pantry items and tools can be returned within 14 days of delivery, unopened and in their packaging.
