From the Axarquía in Málaga. We don't grow it: we buy it there.
The Axarquía, in Málaga, is one of the few districts in Europe where avocados ripen outdoors — no greenhouse, no transatlantic crossing. This does not come from our grove: we buy it from growers there and ship it firm, exactly as it is picked, so it softens in your kitchen over three or four days. Hass variety, the rough-skinned one that darkens as it ripens.

How to store it
Seasonal fruit, alive and never cold-stored. Take it out of the box when it arrives and don't stack it. Eat whatever came ripest first; the rest keeps better out of the fridge, at room temperature and away from the sun. An avocado softens on the counter in two or three days — when it gives under your thumb, it's ready. Only already-ripe fruit goes in the fridge, in the bottom drawer.
Shipping & returns
We ship to mainland Spain, the Balearic Islands and Portugal. Free from €45.00. Fresh products travel in ventilated boxes and leave Monday to Thursday so they never sit in a warehouse over the weekend.
Fresh chestnuts and the packs that include them are perishable goods: by law (art. 16(d) of EU Directive 2011/83, art. 103(d) of the Spanish Consumer Act) the right of withdrawal doesn't apply. If they arrive in poor condition, send us a photo within 24 hours and we'll replace them or refund you.
