Bagged on the tree in July, picked in September. Firm yellow flesh.
In the Bajo Aragón each peach is bagged by hand on the tree in July and left hanging well into September. It comes out pale yellow and firm, with dense flesh that holds up to a knife and a sweetness that never cloys. It is not ours: we buy it from growers in the Teruel district and ship it freshly cut, still hard, to ripen at home on the worktop.

How to store it
Seasonal fruit, alive and never cold-stored. Take it out of the box when it arrives and don't stack it. Eat whatever came ripest first; the rest keeps better out of the fridge, at room temperature and away from the sun. An avocado softens on the counter in two or three days — when it gives under your thumb, it's ready. Only already-ripe fruit goes in the fridge, in the bottom drawer.
Shipping & returns
We ship to mainland Spain, the Balearic Islands and Portugal. Free from €45.00. Fresh products travel in ventilated boxes and leave Monday to Thursday so they never sit in a warehouse over the weekend.
Fresh chestnuts and the packs that include them are perishable goods: by law (art. 16(d) of EU Directive 2011/83, art. 103(d) of the Spanish Consumer Act) the right of withdrawal doesn't apply. If they arrive in poor condition, send us a photo within 24 hours and we'll replace them or refund you.
