What a stone drying house does with smoke and three weeks, this does with warm air and one night. Stainless steel trays, a 35–70 °C thermostat and a timer: a fig from Almoharín at 60 °C turns to caramel, a pink Barbastro tomato at 55 °C becomes a sun-dried tomato, and dry-farmed walnuts finish drying without taking on damp. It does not replace the sequeiro — a pilonga carries smoke and is another thing entirely — but it saves the fruit you over-ordered.

How to store it
Always unplug it before cleaning, and never put the body of the machine in water. Trays and removable parts: warm water and mild soap, dried completely before reassembling. Store it dry. You have three years of statutory guarantee from delivery; keep the invoice, which is what proves it.
